Today, we didn't have to do anything with the class because there was no school
HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY!
Anywho, this morning I had to pack because I am staying with Wanda for the weekend
Later on in the afternoon, we went to the park where we met up with a few more students
We hung out for about 3 hours and finally went home
Me and Miranda are hanging out now, secretly eating food
Tomorrow is pretty much our last day
Goodnight!

Today we went to the Roman Bath House, Baden Baden and to a pottery village!!
The pottery village was pretty boring
At the bath house there were many different pools of all different temperatures
There was this one room that was filled with vapor, it smelled like vicks vapor rub
There were pools inside and outside
It was so nice and relaxing
After our long day of fun, the school had a dance for us Americans
It was pretty up beat and fun
Everyone was getting down and JIGGY with it
I had a wonderful day

Today we went to Europa-Park
I haven't been on a roller coaster since I was 5 or 6 so I was a little bit scared to ride them today
The first one I went on was very scary and it made me even more scared to ride bigger ones
I ended up riding about 6 roller coasters, but I didn't really like them
One of the roller coasters was in a big ball and it was very dark so I didnt know what was going on, but it was my favorite
On another, we rode sideways and it gave me a really bad headache and I was super scared
I still feel like I'm on a roller coaster
Roller coasters are not my favorite things in the whole wide world, but I'm glad I got over my fear and rode some

Today we went bowling and to the European Parliament
Bowling was fun and their bowling alley was a lot nicer than ours
Some of us had lunch at McDonalds and it was delicious
While Flore was in school I went shopping with some other people, but I didnt buy anything
The European Parliament was kind of boring because our tour guide took us into the room and talked to us for about an hour about stuff that wasn't important
We had some americans over for dinner and it was fun and the food was really good, it might have been better than McDonalds
Today was a fun day, but I can't believe this is the last week in France

Today we went to PARIS
I got up at 4:45 because we had to be at the train station at 5:45
The train was so much fun, it was really fast
When we got to Paris we rode around in the bus and then went to Notre Dame, it was very cool
Then we went to the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower was huge and very pretty
I got some really good pictures of the Eiffel Tower
We took an elevator to the 2nd floor which was really just a floor right under the top
We ate lunch below the Eiffel Tower and I got ice cream
I have wanted to get ice cream this whole trip and I finally did and it was delicious
I bargained with some men selling Eiffel Tower key chains and I ended up getting the best deal
We went to the Louvre after we left the Eiffel Tower
It was very big and beautiful
We saw so many pieces of famous artwork, but the one I liked the best was the Monna Lisa
Paris was wonderful and I wish we could have stayed longer

Today we went to church
It was very confusing because everything was in French
After church, there was a picnic with Me, Caitlyn, Courtney, Miranda and some other people
It was fun
We just got home and made homemade ice cream
I am about to go try some
Tomorrow we go to PARIS

Today, I woke up at 11:00
We went to Marie's for lunch and had hot dogs
After lunch, we went to the park with Gina, Caitlyn, Courtney, and Tara and their French hosts
When we got home, we just hung out and then Flore went to a party, but I didn't feel good so i stayed home with Chloe and her two friends

Today we saw Obama
We got to the cinema at 9:00 AM and ate lunch a little bit later
When we left, we went into the place where we would see him speak
There were no more seats in the section with our group
Caty, Tara, Miranda, and I had to go find a seat somewhere else and ended up on the back row of another section
We left to go get something to eat, but the line was too long so we went back in the arena and the woman said to go the other way from our seats and there was an open section and we got front row seats
Later, another woman came over to us and asked if we wanted to be on CNN and we sad YES so she took us to a section right behind Obama
We were very close to him and it was an amazing experience

Today, we went to a castle and to a village
The castle was high up on a mountain and it was pretty scary driving around sharp turns in a big bus
When we got to the top it was freezing
We had to stand outside for a long time listening to a tour guide, but it wasn't that boring
I was hoping it was going to be warmer inside the castle, but it wasn't
We walked all arouind the huge castle and my feet were very numb
After the tour of the castle, we went to the village Kaysersberg
We walked around for a while and then we went to meet the mayor but he wasn't able to come meet us so we had to stand in a room and they gave us food
We drove back to Strasbourg and I fell asleep on the bus
When we arrived, we were video taped for OBAMA
I felt like a star

Today was fun
We went to the school and sat in a classroom for two hours and talked to French students
Everyone had a choice between rock climbing, volleyball, and ping-pong
When we got to school we could only choose either volleyball or rock climbing so I went with Flore to rock climb
Rock climbing was really fun
We ate lunch at the school and then Courtney, Miranda, and Ihad to watch Wanda, Flore, Marie, and Marin do a presentation for religion
After they finished, we all went shopping
I didn't buy anything, but it was fun

Today was fun, sad, and confusing
We went to STRUTHOF Concentration Camp and saw a lot of interesting things
Most of the information was written in German or French so we couldn't really read it
When we saw the end of the concentration camp it was pretty much all in English
It was very sad and we saw how many people died
People were creamated and whipped to death
There were some rooms where the people had to crouch down and sit there until they died
It was very intresting but also very sad
After the concentration camp, we had a reception at the school
Today was a good day

Today we visited the school St Ettiene and we went on a tour
The school was very old and big
When we were finished touring the school, we went on a boat tour of Strasbourg
We saw so much stuff and I got a lot of pictures
We had lunch at the school and it was pretty good
After lunch, we went on a tour of the cathedral
It was big and it was very beautiful, it had stained glass windows everywhere and it had a huge clock that did alot of different things
Flore took me to the park and some other people went as well
At the park there was a zoo and there were some pretty neat animals there
Tomorrow, we will go to the concentration camp

Hey everybody
Today, Courtney, Flore's mom, and I went on a bike ride together around Strasbourg
We saw a bridge turning around to let a boat by and we saw an old man playing music on another bridge
Flore and I went in the center of Strausburg to hang out with some other americans
For dinner we made crêpes
They were delicious
Flore got me an I LOVE STRASBOURG t-shirt
I love Flore's family
